This year, the 58th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) & 19th Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI), hosted by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM), will take place from 16 to 18 October 2015.

Held annually, JOTA / JOTI provide the platform for Scouts and Guides all over the world to make contacts with each other by means of the Internet.  It is a real Jamboree during which Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared, thus contributing to the world brotherhood of Scouting.  It is a world-wide event mainly for Scouting groups in all youth programme sections, although members from other sections may participate individually.

The event will last for 72 hours, from Friday 00:00h until Sunday 24:00h local time. Every year, it remains the largest scouting event with close to a million participating Scouts across 160+ countries.  JOTA-JOTI is the largest Scouting event in the world. Additional information is available on the JOTA / JOTI team's web portal at: www.world-jotajoti.info

Participants will be awarded an Event Badge and a Certificate of Participation.

The fee of $2 will be fully subsidised by our Scout Group for all Scouts who show evidence of participation in this event in their journals.
