NOTICES FOR 2015 TERM 2 WEEK 10

Due to PTC, this week's Troop Meeting will be converted to a Patrol Meeting.

Here are the rules.

- Compulsory for everyone to attend.

- Can only be at the Patrol Level.

- No combining Patrol UNLESS you want to LEARN something from me.

- Minimum 2 hours. (Recommended 3-4 hours)

- You can set your own Activity and Timings.

- It must be conducted on FRIDAY, 29th May OR SATURDAY, 30th May

- Activities should be outdoors and focused on a CORE Scouting Activity or be directly related to one of the scouting methods. ie, Claiming that you are going to play LAN game as part of teamwork is just bullshitting me and is not acceptable.

- You can use your remaining Patrol Funds for this activity.

- I must see a picture of all participants and a description of the activity for it to count. Post this as a comment by 30th May.

If you are involved in PTC then you have to find an alternative arrangement.

Recommended activities include a hike, exploration of an area, skills learning session, Rock Climbing with your Level 1 Certs, Swimming in a public pool, Community Service to places like Willing Hearts that accept walk-ins or pre-arranged community service on your own.

If you want to learn anything from me, let me know by Thursday. I will not be free on Friday Afternoon but I will be free the whole of Saturday. I can teach you for example, PAK or Drawing a map / Exploration or anything else that requires you to come out of your comfort zone and suffer to learn.

CCA Stand Down for Mid Year Exams

CCAs across our School has stood down for the Mid Year Exams.

There will be a Unit Level CIP Project on 20th May 2015, on the last day of the exams. All Scouts are expected to participate in this activity. Details will be given out shortly.

Regular Troop Meetings will resume on 22nd May 2015.

A First Aid Course is being organised by our Training Secretary for the end of May. Only selected Scouts are affected. Our Training Secretary is coordinating with this scouts directly.
