1) St. Gabriel's Scout Campfire
Date: Saturday, 11th July 2015
Patrols Involved: Animal patrols
Fall in: 1700hrs @ SASS
Dismissal: Around 2200hrs ( after campfire ends) @ St. Gabriel's Sec Sch
Attire: Full Uniform
OTHER NOTICES
8 Scouts will be selected during Troop Meeting to represent our Scout Unit at our NDP and Founders' Day Parades. Training will take place on every Friday from 4 to 6pm. Scouts involved will still report for regular Troop Meeting as per usual.
2) Cooking Competition
Scouts involved will use this Troop Meeting for their second practice. Contact Mr Liang about the arrangement of collecting food.
Each team must:
- Cook and present their meals
- Demonstrate ability to maintain a fire for a minimum of half
an hour
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- See list of Scouts who owe the Troop money. Please submit your payment in CASH to David Chew or Kameron Kuah DURING Troop Meeting
- NDP selection will take place. Your uniform and foot drills must be of highest form if you whish to be selected.
- Search the internet on how to make a simple Morse Code signalling device. You will be tested on sending a Morse Code signal over 100 meters.
- Update your journals. Label the entries corresponding to the progress Scheme Booklet updated on Facebook.
- Campfire attendance is expected. Find a replacement if you are unable to attend.
SUMMARY
Troop Meeting as per normal with a campfire. Participate actively with a positive attitude and update your journals to maximize your scouting experience and journey.
